Indian River State College, 2012-16
In 2012, during my time as the unofficial Events Team Coordinator for The River of Indian River State College, my team became involved in planning and development of IRSC’s Welcome Back events. Rochelle Popp-Finch, the Student Activities Coordinator, was changing the Welcome Back events into a week long program with different mini-events daily on the IRSC Main Campus.

We insisted on helping with this effort, as it was a great opportunity for the store to become more involved in student life and be present all over campus. My team and I re-envisioned what Week of Welcome would look like, putting more emphasis on introducing the new Campus Coalition Government officers that were running the event and would be vital to students that needed assistance on-campus.
We rebranded the event with a new logo, photographic emphasis on the CCG, and a schedule of events. Our efforts were very successful, and Student Activities saw a larger turnout of students at each of their events.
In 2013, Student Activites decided to brand each of the individual events held during Week of Welcome, and our team was called on for assisting in the effort.
Our team brainstormed with CCG and came up with visual identities for each of their mini-events that are still in use today.
