How I view the world of art and design.

The art that I create is not for the masses. It’s for people, like me, that have suffered some loss – some tragedy, and are trying to find a way to keep moving forward, but broken. Fore there is beauty in broken things, and it’s the broken vessel that may be made whole and full again.

When I design, I do it to serve a function, a purpose, and to create a vehicle for emotions to explore the physical world. I believe design should communicate the absolutely necessary and display the extremely interesting.

If art is visual emotion, and design is visual communication, then I believe the two partnered together are visual understanding. It’s my personal goal to be able to help young men and women discover the secret language of visual expression and understanding through meaningful, thought provoking projects and discussions.
